The rooms at Hotel Vale Do Navio are simply amazing! They have a modern and elegant design, with stunning views of either the sea or the mountain. As a light sleeper, I couldn't ask for a better room to relax and enjoy my stay.

Personally, I found the brightly colored furnishings and bedding in the rooms a bit too flashy for my taste. However, I understand that others might find it stylish and fun.

after a stay in Capelas, Vale Do Navio was a pleasant surprise. The friendly staff directed us to local attractions and the packed breakfast for our early departure was a thoughtful gesture. The spacious room with a view of the ocean and the outdoor pool were highlights of our stay.

Pedras do Mar was a great hotel where we were upgraded from Vale do Navio. The staff was professional and kind, and we had a memorable time. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a great mountain view. The food was delicious, and the staff at the reception was always friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The cleaning was excellent, and the common areas were well-maintained. a fantastic stay at Pedras do Mar!

Great location to explore the island. Fantastic staff, always helpful and pleasant. The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools for relaxation.

Breakfast options were quite limited, and the quality was not up to our expectations. The coffee machine kept breaking down, and cold milk was in low supply.

We had an excellent stay! The hotel facilities were impressive, including a sauna, an indoor pool, and a gym. The breakfast menu was diverse and included many local products. The staff was kind and helpful, and the hotel was easy to use for touring the island.

Our Thanksgiving stay in this hotel was overall quite enjoyable. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We particularly liked the well-equipped kitchen in our apartment, allowing us to prepare some of our own meals. The location of the hotel was also convenient for exploring the island with a rental car, as it was within an hour's drive of most of the sights we wanted to see. the natural swimming pools nearby provided a fun and unique experience.

One downside we experienced during our stay was the lack of towels available to us. Despite asking every day, we were only able to get two towels for our group of four, which made it difficult to fully enjoy all the water activities the island has to offer.

It could even be a nice place, provided the staff put more care on: cleaning, repairing non working items, gardening. If so, you could forget the noisy road (north facing rooms) and other minor inconvenients.
